In the midst of cars honking, crowded street corners, the endless smell of food and the constant chatter of Mandarin... moments of the still and calm present themselves.

The breaking of monotony, order into disorder.

Píngjìng is Mandarin for calm. This feeling of calm is what I found throughout the city streets and into the countryside.
